A Story of Subversive Power
While the wealth gap persists in the U.S., supporting women entrepreneurs and leaders in our local communities is critical to move towards equity.
Research shows that women are just as likely as men to succeed when starting similar businesses, yet they face more structural barriers to achieving higher growth and impact. It’s time to break down those barriers.
The good news is: it’s very rewarding work.
Beset is using its platform to support women founders and leaders who are doing work to broaden the access to well being. We are excited to use our voices to share the many stories we hear of phenomenal women leaders, recognizing all the ways in which women lead including at home and in community.
Today I’m sharing my story with you in the video below. We’ll be highlighting the stories of other women in upcoming editions of Blinders Off.
We stay more connected to our deepest inspiration when we confront reality and make change together. We’re honored to ignite change with you.

A heartfelt thank you to Chris Williams, founder of Front Porch Sessions, for bringing his signature storytelling workshop to Beset headquarters, and for helping us bring our origin stories (including Briea’s) to life.
The work continues. We’re invested in being a supportive force for change.
